Before comparing quotes, ask both companies to quote based on the same cargo information, the same delivery location and the same set of services. It’s impossible to tell how much you’ll ultimately pay for a commercial shipment simply by comparing prices per kilogram.

First write down the quotation basis clearly

Send the same version of packing information to all parties, listing the product, quantity, length, width and height of each package after packaging, gross weight, delivery address, Ukraine delivery location and delivery date. When the manufacturer has not yet completed packaging, it should mark the size as an estimate and agree on how to confirm the new quotation after retesting. Distinguish between estimates and confirmable items

It is required to indicate the quotation currency, validity period, billing basis, and whether size changes, waiting, warehousing and address changes will incur new fees. Import taxes, fees and documentation requirements are left to relevant professionals to confirm based on specific goods; the amounts in community comments will not be applied to your order. Items that are not determined at the time of inquiry should be listed as pending confirmation rather than filled with zeros.

Use a scenario to check if quotes are comparable

For example, for the same batch of pump parts, plan A goes to the European transit point, and plan B goes to the Ukrainian receiving warehouse. First complete A’s subsequent transportation and delivery arrangements, and then compare the total scope. If B does not include unloading equipment, it should also be marked separately. This is an example of a comparison method and does not have a corresponding true rate or savings commitment.

Keep the final confirmed version before payment

Put the final packing information, route range, cost division and change processing method in the same confirmation record. Reconfirm affected items whenever weight, packaging, or shipping location changes.
