Transportation information and document coordination
Organize cargo information, inspection photos, transportation documents and key node information according to the agreed method.
Transportation information and document coordination: what do we coordinate?
Purchasing and shipping information typically comes from factories, warehouses, carriers, and receivers. We agree at the beginning what content, contact persons and communication channels need to be shared, which can range from order lists, agreed inspection results, photos of goods, packaging data and shipping documents. Key nodes, difference verification methods and update frequency are confirmed based on actual participants. If you need a specific report format, field list, or data transfer to your own system, you can first put forward the requirements and then evaluate them. The completeness of the information and the time it is provided depend on the actual progress of the operation and the information provided by the relevant service providers.
Agree in advance what photos and records will be needed after the Chinese side receives the goods so that you can judge the condition of the goods. Please indicate key markings or matching parts, feasibility of additional photography and inspection to confirm before execution.
02
Document and node communication
Order lists, packaging data and available shipping documents are exchanged through agreed channels. Please specify the contact person and the node of concern, and confirm the frequency of information update based on the actual information of the relevant transportation participants.
03
Official Carrier Inquiry
After the carrier provides the tracking number, it can help identify the corresponding company and find the official inquiry portal. You can check the actual status provided by the carrier, and further check if the tracking number is unknown or the transporter's handover changes.
